Course research guides are designed by your Sydney TAFE library staff to assist you to find high quality information on the internet and make the most effective use of the library.
The State Library of New South Wales is located in Macquarie Street, Sydney.
It is open Monday – Thursday 9am-8pm Friday 9am-5pm Weekends 10am – 5pm
Membership to the State Library is FREE. You can apply for a library card either by going to the library or by completing an online application.

The State Library of NSW subscribes to a wide range of eResources including The Vogue Archive, Jstor, British Periodicals, and many more.
For NSW residents, the card also lets you use most of their eResources from home.
